The Fine Line of Good and Evil: Part 1

Ugh, school can be dull sometimes, sitting in that lecture hall with a group of your friends frantically trying to take down notes which you would not be able to read later. Well last week was different, and I have the butterflies in my stomach to prove it. Well one day before class there was a seat empty and out of nowhere Ashley came and sat beside me and said “Hi, I know you”. She had a smirk on her face and a squint in her eyes. My face went red and all I could say was “Oh Hey Ashley”. She kind of screwed her face and said “I don’t like the name Ashley. Can you please call me Sasha?” I could not refuse. All class we kept whispering to each other about nothingness. Well, the end of the class came and I knew I had to do something to make sure this conversation continued, so I blurted out “If you’re not doing anything now, do you want to go out for some coffee?” Surprisingly she said “sure”.

So we went for some coffee and we had a lovely chat in the little coffee shop, named Tim Hortons. We discussed everything and we were totally hitting it off until, my enhanced (super) hearing kicked in. I could hear an alarm go off at the Royal Ontario Museum. Before I could come up with an excuse for getting out of there, Sasha said “Oh look at the time, I totally forgot that I had a doctors appointment.” She quickly got up and ran out of the coffee shop. I followed her out and got into the first phone booth I saw to “suit up”, and I was off to save the day…

Heat Seeking: Part 3

I got out of the water and the chase was on again. I was racking my brain to think of how to rid myself of these missiles, and then it hit me, heat-seeking. Perhaps they have locked on to my body heat. I hauled butt to Antarctica where I became a better target and the missiles started clumping together for the final kill. Once one got close enough I used my heat vision to redirect it into an ice berg. The little missile quickly followed the heat and flew into the ice. I started to redirect the remaining missiles into other huge objects, until there were two left. I used my heat vision to heat up one of the missiles and soon the remaining missile flew into its counter part and both were destroyed. After this ordeal I realized that there is something going on that not only threatens me but also the entire world…

Heat Seeking: Part 2

They’re hot on my tail, and I can’t get my thoughts in order. Geez, this superhero gig looks so much easier on television. Ok, I decided instead of worrying about who this Omelet group is, I should figure out how to get these things off my tail. The first thing that came to mind was water, which was obvious because I was flying over the Pacific. So I slowed down and dove right in.

At this point the missiles were above the water, right on top of me. Out of nowhere like a pack of wolves taking it’s first strike two missiles changed course and headed straight towards me. I used all the strength I could to speed up and luckily they made contact with the water right behind my feet. Unfortunately that was not enough, the aftershock from the blast made me spin under water and I lost control. I quickly resurfaced and saw the remaining missiles turn around and come back towards me. I knew I was doomed….

Heat Seeking: Part 1

Flying, it is truly the essence of my existence. Whenever I am stressed out or it seems my world is falling apart, I just open my window and fly. Most of the time of the time this is a relaxing experience, however today was a different story. While flying I was intercepted by 6 fighter jets that told me to get out of their airspace. I had no idea what they were talking about because I was over international waters. There was a second warning, this time they said they belonged to a country known as Omelet. I turned around to get a closer look at the jets, they were unlike anything I had ever seen and also they had a weird symbol on its hull, which was red line followed by a red circle. Anyways, I was not threatened because I knew that I could out fly them. So I started flying faster, and at that moment each jet launched 2 missiles that began following me. This was another yawn, so I started going faster and faster, however I was wrong, these missiles began speeding up to match my speed. I suddenly realized that if the missiles could match my speed, then who knows what they could do if they detonated. I had to lose these missiles somehow...
