Psychosis: Part 3

When I finally came to, I was in a holding cell and all I could see were bright lights. Once my eyes focused I say an unconscious Ashley in the middle of the warehouse and Psychosis standing not too far from her trying to open a portal. At that moment, I remembered that telepaths can’t concentrate on too many things at once. I instantly grabbed the bars of the cell and ripped them off. Psychosis took notices of this and then I could feel an immense amount of pain flowing through my head. I knew I had to do something, so I ran as fast as I could to Ashley and moved her away from Psychosis. At that moment the portal became unstable, and psychosis turned his concentration away from me and to the portal. But by the time he did that it was too late, the portal came crashing down on him.

As I flew with an unconscious Ashley in my arms I realized that she was more special than I thought. She has powers that she doesn’t know about, and I realized we are very much alike. The difference is that I hide my abilities, while she doesn’t know. I finally got to the building where we had the formal; it was now blocked off with police tape, but no one was there. I left Ashley on the steps of the building and I flew off. Tonight I felt like the knight in shinning armor, however in the end I didn’t get the girl and I ultimately reverted back to the shy admirer that saw a beautiful girl in a red dress…

Psychosis: Part 2

From where I left off, it seems like I was in quite a mess. I have to find a way to save my damsel in distress from this ruthless mad man. Ok so back to the story, I searched for Psychosis on my universal computer, which if you don’t know is like a normal computer with internet but it is connected to networks throughout the known galaxies and also it has an Artificial Intelligence called GOLIATH (Galaxial Optimus Lasting Intelligence-Artificial Trimetric Hub). The results demonstrated very little, this Psychosis individual is not known through the galaxy, nor did it say anything about an amulet. I was stumped, I was thinking about whom this person was and why he wanted Ashley. So I searched for telepaths, the results showed the usual information that I already knew. An interesting point was that telepaths can’t concentrate on too many things at once, which may work to my advantage.

So I finally searched for amulet and Telepath together and found the most useful piece of information. It seems that “Amulet”, is not what I thought it was (ie: an object worn primarily around the neck), it was actually a proper name, given to a witch, in ancient Egypt. It seems that wherever she went she continuously brought bad luck with her. Also, it mentions that in every generation there is a chosen one who posses the same mystical powers of this witch. It mentions that usually this person is unaware of her abilities and thus most of the time will continue to live amongst as a normal human. It further went on to say that Amulet disappeared with a telepath in an attempt to control the space-time continuum. I was thinking to myself that all this is useful, but how would I find out where they are, then it hit me, what if the mere proximity of a Psychosis and Ashley set off disturbances in space-time. So I used GOLIATH’s sensors to see if there were possible disturbances and found some right outside Calgary, Canada. Now I knew where to go so faster than the speed of light I was off, flying to my destiny.

I finally reached the location of the disturbances, an old run down warehouse, I went in and saw Ashley, unconscious and surrounded by a force field. There was also weird sparks of light throughout the warehouse, it seems that there were fractures in space-time, there were parts of the room that were in day and others in night and not only that, I could swear that one of the fractures had an aerial view if the Eiffel tower. As I walked in I heard a noise, I turned around to see Psychosis walking in and laughing. “Oh the hero is here to save his love. I can read your mind and see that she is the one you love and you are on your foolish journey to stop me” is what he said. This gave me time to throw a huge boulder at him; however he took notice and used his telekinesis to smash it into pieces. Then I began flying towards him at super speeds, but then I felt extreme pain in my head. It felt like my brain was growing too large for my head. I blanked out in mid air and crashed into a wall, where I lay motionless and unconscious…

Psychosis: Part 1

Well tonight was the formal at my university, and as usual my friends dragged me along. It was the typical bore, some lame music playing, couples dancing, and the rest of us singles sitting around pretending to look cool. As I was falling asleep, something caught the corner of my eye. As my eyes focused on the red blur, I saw it was Ashley, and her date Justin. Ashley looked exquisite in her flowing red gown and that smile on her face. Justin, looked like a goof with his “I have a hot date” smirk and his “ghetto fabulous” walk. As you can obviously tell I have been admiring Ashley from afar for a long time, and I am a tad jealous of the company she brought to the formal.

As the night rolled on I couldn’t keep my eyes off Ashley, and others took notice to my pseudo-hypnosis. It wasn’t until my friends forced me to get up to go ask her to dance that I finally got out of my seat. I guess this is the part where everything becomes slow motion and I walk towards my destiny. However this was not the case, after two steps towards her all I could hear was glass shattering. I looked over my shoulder and all I could see was a huge window come crashing down. From the confusion a tall gray haired man in a cape and some sort of leather suit flies in through the window. Also entering the room were these men in black ski masks. I knew this was trouble, so I ducked under a dining table to change into my “suit”. And as I was coming out from under the table cloth, I could see Justin ducking under a table too while leaving Ashley stranded outside. The flying gray haired man begins his dull monologue which went something like: “I am Psychosis, the telepath. I am here looking for the Amulet which will help me in my conquest”. Same old super villain, so basically I start flying towards him, when I am suddenly hit by something. I look over and I see some sort of grappling hook that was launched from one of the henchmen in ski masks. This was no ordinary grappling hook, it had a high voltage electric pulse going through it, and I can assure you with all my strength, I could feel it. Then another grappling hook attached to me and then another and another. Soon I felt dizzy and crashed into one of the dining tables. When I looked up I saw Psychosis using his telekinesis to lift Ashley and fly her out of the room.

When I was finally able to get rid of the grappling hooks they were all gone. And I knew I had to do something, I couldn’t let this jerk get away with kidnapping Ashley. So I flew as fast as I could to my fortress of solitude, where I am right now trying to use all the tools available to me to find out where Ashley is and what psychosis wants with her….
